The 500L is the first standard production car in the world to offer a true espresso coffee machine that utilizes the technology of having a brew system in the vehicle.  Fiat explains, “It is perfectly integrated in the car with a desk designed expressly by Fiat.”

Due out in Italy during this Winter, inventors of the new Fiat says there is no reason to be alarmed – drivers can’t brew a cup of coffee unless their Fiat is completely stopped.

The new crossover model, Fiat 500L has a large range of accessories but the one more appealing to buyers seems to be the built in espresso machine. Instead of driving your Fiat to the closet Starbucks drivers can find a coffee brew system in their console, a “new coffee machine ceased in collaboration with Lavazza” which is considered to be the Starbucks of Italy.

While its first of a kind offering by Fiat the function of having a coffee maker in a car has gotten a lot of criticism from people in the US. Many have concerns with having this Brew Systems within a vehicle and fear that it will be a distraction to both drivers and passengers of the vehicle.
